Who we are looking for As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and attracting top talent to contribute to our Agency's success.
Reporting directly to the HR Director, you will lead the end-to-end recruitment process, implementing effective strategies to source, assess, and hire candidates across various roles.
Your role is pivotal in building a skilled and diverse workforce aligned with our Agency values.
Pay Structure Hourly rate plus commission plan Education and Experience Associates' degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum of 2 years proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or Recruiter.
Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, techniques, and best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to analyze and assess candidate suitability for specific roles.
Proficiency with social media, CV databases, and professional networks Experience in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to proactively source candidates Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HR software.
Ability to successfully pass the Medicaid exclusion screening and background check NYS Drivers license and clean driving record Essential Functions Sourcing and Recruitment:
Utilize innovative sourcing methods to identify and attract qualified candidates.
Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks Manage the recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to candidate offer.
Candidate Assessment:
Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria Conduct comprehensive interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
Collaborate with hiring managers to define position requirements and expectations.
Employer Branding:
Assist with the develop and implement strategies to enhance our employer brand.
Coordinate with Marketing to design, prepare and order educational aids and materials Create compelling job descriptions and marketing materials to attract top talent.
Talent Pipeline Management:
Proactively build and maintain a pool of qualified candidates for future needs.
Cultivate relationships with potential candidates through networking and outreach.
Compile lists of most-suitable candidates by assessing their CVs, portfolios, and references Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline Maintain records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and priorities.
Provide regular updates on recruitment progress and key metrics.
Collaborate with the HR Director to ensure a seamless onboarding process.
Follows agency Compliance Plan and Standards of Conduct Support and participate in the agency's Continuous Quality Improvement activities.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
