- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner - Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide information to callers - Check-in patients, verify insurance information, and collect necessary paperwork - Maintain patient records and update information as needed - Assist with billing and insurance claims processing - Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as necessary - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality - Manage office supplies and maintain a clean reception area Skills:
- Proficient in using Medent medical office systems - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to provide exceptional patient service - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Experience working in an ophthalmology, medical, dental office or healthcare setting is preferred - Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or other electronic medical record systems is a plus If you are a friendly and organized individual with excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you.
